{"id":2979,"date":"2009-05-23T15:56:17","date_gmt":"2009-05-23T19:56:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.libology.com\/blog\/?p=2979"},"modified":"2009-11-04T13:41:33","modified_gmt":"2009-11-04T17:41:33","slug":"open-jurist","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.libology.com\/blog\/2009\/05\/23\/open-jurist.html","title":{"rendered":"Open Jurist"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/openjurist.org\/\"><strong>Open Jurist<\/strong><\/a> is a great add-on to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.libology.com\/blog\/2009\/05\/17\/free-case-law-resources.html\">free case law<\/a> resources I wrote about a few days ago.\u00a0 Consisting of over 600,000 opinions from the federal court system, including the United States Supreme Court and the Federal Appellate Courts.\u00a0 This looks to be a great resource for research into federal court cases.<\/p>\n<p>One minor negative:\u00a0 one of the first searches I performed, Bush v. Gore (the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Bush_v._Gore\">Supreme Court decision regarding the 2000 presidential election<\/a>) didn&#8217;t work as it should have because the case is listed as &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/openjurist.org\/531\/us\/98\/george-bushs-v-albert-gore\">George Bushs v.
