It is a virtual bookshelf built around Amazon&#8217;s book cover images and inventory.  However, the concept would make for an excellent method of &#8220;browsing&#8221; a library catalog.  The company founder has even <a href=\"http:\/\/groups.google.com\/group\/zoomii\/browse_thread\/thread\/d8b7dd3b22246635\/5feb5483b76f2e0f?lnk=gst&amp;q=library#5feb5483b76f2e0f\">mentioned that he would love to adapt the software to work with a library catalog<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It reminds me very much of a Firefox add-on called <a href=\"https:\/\/addons.mozilla.org\/en-US\/firefox\/addon\/5579\">PicLens<\/a>, which uses a similar interface for viewing a large number of images.  If you haven&#8217;t tried it, you really should, if only to experience how much it improves image <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">search and<\/span> browse.<\/p>\n<p>Mentioned on the NCG4lib list by B.G.
